We caught up with Whitney Port as she lunched with some friends by a fountain in Manhattan this afternoon. The reality star is in the midst of her own spin off as she moved to New York from The Hills to work for designer Diane von Furstenberg.
Can we really imagine Whitney as the narrator of the show? And how many spin offs of Laguna Beach are there really going to be? Pretty soon MTV will spin off into my life, I swear it's coming.

so i love whitney, and i would gladly watch her spin off show which hopefully will be more about fashion, and that scene...instead of the crap drama of the hills. she needs to be set free. i love dvf and she's real lucky to get a position there. also i hope mtv doesn't try to mold this spin-off to be another laguna or hills...but make it more of an organic, natural whitney port imprint. so basically what i'm saying is i love whitney, she has good style and sense, but if she's gonna be narrating the show then mtv should write her script cause she really is just plain...and i think most youngins will be saying plain=boring. WP
