Whaaaaaaa?!

Is Samantha Ronson into dudes now?!  We spotted SamRo with Good Charlotte twin Benji Madden in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon and although I'd love to get my hopes up and think this was a date, I'm sure it was just a "friends" thing.

After all, Sam kind of looks like she could be the Madden triplet and Benji is the kind of guy who dates Paris Hilton so the chemistry might not be there.  My guess is that their coffee date was maybe more of a coffee counseling session where Benji offered his support over Sam's recent break up with Lindsay Lohan.  Maybe he said something like to the effect of "Homegirl is CRAZY.  Let's go look for new chicks."

The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation Private Cocktail Event held at  MyHouse in Los Angeles last evening.  The party was to raise money for UNICEF's Tap Project to provide clean water to the world. 

Also raising funds for the kiddies were Joel's twin Benji Madden as well as Lauren Conrad, Rachel Zoe and Charlotte Ronson.  Nicole looked elegant in her floor length gown as she showed off her slight baby bump.

        

Last night Ben Affleck hosted his friends to raise awareness for a cause that's very close to his heart, the turmoil in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Children Mending Hearts organization focuses on art exchanges throughout the world and last night Ben spoke out on the millions of deaths in the country due to war and disease and Sheryl Crow performed while photographs were sold to raise money.

Also there to lend their support were; Marisa Tomei, Benji and Joel Madden, Alyssa Milano and Elizabeth Banks.  Jennifer Garner surprised Ben after his speech, slipping in to give him a kiss then leaving again to head back to her daughters.

       

Say it ain't so!  After 9 months of bliss, it seems that the reality heiress and the rocker have gone their separate ways.  A source tells People that Paris Hilton and Benji Madden have split up, "She is saddened by the breakup but they're just too different and they wanted different things in life.  He was loyal and sweet but it was time to take a break."

The break up came a few days ago and the couple have been seen partying separately; Paris has even been spotted with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos in Miami.

Tough break you guys, but I'm sure you'll be back on your feet in no time (well, at least Paris will)!

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden, the little couple that could, arrived at LAX yesterday to a sea of photographers, fans and "citizen paparazzi".  It's kind of amusing to watch Paris make her way through security, then gallop away towards her gate.  Do you think Benji actually takes her seriously, or is he just along for the ride?

Upon first glance of this picture, I definitely thought it was Vanilla Ice sitting in the back of a limo, not Benji Madden.  Lucky for the public, Ice wasn't playing a concert in Toronto, but Good Charlotte instead.  We spotted Benji and his twin Joel leaving MuchMusic en route to their show.

   

How are these two still together?  Defying all odds, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden arrived in NYC yesterday afternoon; Good Charlotte had a show at Roseland.  What's our thoughts on this couple?  Preggers and/or ring by the end of year?  Double wedding with Nicole and Joel?

    

Which Madden is which? Is Joel on the right or the left?  Does Benji date an heiress or is it the other one? Oh the Madden twins, they sure can mix you up!  They're both in the same band and they date a pair of best friends!  We spotted Joel at a convenience store and Benji at a deli but all we have to do is swap out a few accessories and they'd practically be the same person.  Of course we can't forget Pete Wentz, who's practically becom their triplet at this point.  Ahh, remember when they wrote Life Styles of the Rich and the Famous? And now they're living it!  Irony's a bitch!

    

Paris Hilton isn't exactly who comes to mind as the face of drug abuse prevention, but none the less P and Benji came out for the Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug Alcohol and Awareness in Los Angeles over the weekend.  Brent Shapiro was the son of Robert Shapiro (O.J. Simpson's lawyer) who died of a drug overdose.  The evening of "dinner, dancing and disco" was held to raise awareness for the foundation and was also attended by Nicky Hilton and her main man David Katzenberg; Nicky looked adorable in a sailor print dress. 
Paris has been flapping her gums lately about how much she'd like to get married to Benji and how she sees the two of them together "forever".  What do you think, will there be a Paris and Benji union by the end of the summer?

      

Paris Hilton and her blinged out ring finger made an appearance at The Late Show with David Letterman yesterday with boyfriend Benji in tow. Paris stopped to sign autographs for fans, including one guy (construction worker maybe?) who got her to sign his orange vest!  The signature read "That's Hot".  He's gonna be the coolest guy hanging out at the scaffolding!
