Giving Ashlee Simpson a well-earned break from mommy duties, Pete Wentz enjoyed some daddy bonding time with son, Bronx, in Manhattan today.

And where did they go? A museum? A toy shop? The zoo?

Well, none of the above, because Pete was clearly rather hungry and decided to treat his offspring to a slice at the local pizza joint.

And they both had a great time chowin' down...

Some celebrities will go to any lengths not to be photograghed by our intrepid lensmen.

But when we caught up with Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz this afternoon, we think they might have been taken things a little too far.

Ashlee was walking around in a crazy old woman mask and her hubby had his chimp face on.

It was all in good fun though and they later removed their disguises to reveal their true identities.

Enjoying a day off from her role in the Browadway show, Chicago, Ashlee Simpson enjoyed some downtime today with her family.

We caught up with the singer and her hubby Pete Wentz and son Bronx strolling around midtown Manhattan.

Despite the icy weather, Bronx was clearly having fun with his ma and pa at the playground.

And then they called in at a local cafe for coffee before heading off to the shops to buy groceries and check out the sales.

Baby on board!  Having an infant on your tour bus doesn't quite scream "rock and roll" but that is how Pete Wentz and his wife Ashlee Simpson roll these days.  Check out the fam as they carry little Bronx Wentz around in NYC this afternoon.

I guess Pete Wentz's douchery finally got the better of him.  The Fall Out Boy bassist appeared on stage in Florida last night with a black eye and bloody nose but actually, it's FAKE!  Pete and his bandmates have been sporting various wigs and costumes on their current Never Say Die tour and looks like Pete is (once again) playing in the make up kit!

Happy Earth Day!  I ate an apple, so I think I've done my part.  Word on the street is....

We don't often get to see little Bronx Wentz but we captured a rare glimpse of him at LAX yesterday afternoon with his parents.

Check out Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson and Bronx as they make their way through the airport, Bronx looks like a cutie in his hood that has ears!  If only his parents had that same kind of charm, they're looking kind of douchey wearing their sunglasses inside.

Baby Bronx keeping you up late?!

We spotted a very scrubby and sleepy-looking Pete Wentz leaving a Starbucks in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.  He must have really been out of it cuz he left the house without any make up on! The Wentzer grabbed him self a coffee and a sandwich and got back into his Audi and drove away...probably making a stop along the way at Rite Aid to pick up some more eye liner.

      

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson took to their website to show off their new bundle of joy, baby Bronx.

 "We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz." reads the site.  They also encourage their fans to donate to charities such as the Richie Madden Foundation in the spirit of the season. 

Even celebrities aren't free from the all-seeing eye of the FAA.

We spotted Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz making his way through security at LAX today with his sneakers in hand.  Pete looked a little tired with his mussed hair and red Ray-Bans; hmm maybe continuous press for a new album plus constant attention for a new baby is wearing him out a bit?

We spotted Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz arriving to the Virgin Megastore in Times Square last night with some inexplicable markings on his face; it appears if someone held a stencil to his cheek and spray painted an X on it.  Is that what the kids are into these days?  Or is Pete making some kind of subtle statment, the way that Chris Martin does when he writes random shit on his hands and tapes his fingers?  (Or maybe both of them just still think they are 16 years old.)

Anyhow Pete's been making the media rounds in NYC to promote Fall Out Boy's new album Folie a Deux.  Check him out with band mate Patrick Stump on the Today show Plaza with Matt Lauer and Meredith Viera this morning.
