Shouldn't y'all be in the kitchen right now?!

The cast of Beverly Hills 90210 were working hard this holiday week.  We spotted Shenae Grimes, AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica Lowndes on set yesterday afternoon.  Shenae gave us a wave from her trailer while AnnaLynne and Jessica flashed us a smile between scenes.

I can't wait for the Jason Priestly-directed episode of 90210!  I just wish he would actually get on screen, fingers crossed....

       

It's almost here!  Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart premiered Twilight in Los Angeles last night to a sea of adoring fans. 

The most teen-tastic vampire flick since Lost Boys took to the red carpet none too sooner.  RoPats and Kristen were joined by co-star Peter Facinelli (with wife Jennie Garth), as well as friends; Demi Lovato, AnnaLynne McCord and Camilla Belle.  The band Paramore also joined the cast as they their song "Decode" is on the Twilight soundtrack.

AnnaLynne McCord gave us a little show while she dined in Hollywood last night.  The Beverly Hills 90210 actress got lunch with a friend and held up a sign she made on a napkin reading "The <3 of my Life."  Hmmm...do you mean love, like to love a sister or friend?  Or do you mean love, like, madly and passionately in love?  You're fueling rumors AnnaLynne!

       

As much as you think you or I love free shit, celebrities reallyyy love free shit.  You'd think that if you had enough money to do and buy whatever you want, you wouldn't be bothered with a little launch party, but that is certainly not the case as evidenced by the Blackberry Storm party last night.

Everyone from John Mayer to Joy Bryant showed up to the Avalon in Los Angeles last night to grab themselves the latest Blackberry.  The Storm is looking to give the iPhone some competition with it's touch screen approach.  Also scooping up the latest gadget were Juliette Lewis,Kat Von D and AnnaLynne McCord. 

          

Sneaky, sneaky!  Beverly Hills 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord left through the back door of Kress night club in Los Angeles with her sister Angel (who looks like she's channeling Madonna circa "Who's That Girl") last night.  The Sisters McCord were most likely AnnaLynne's recent magazine cover; the teen star landed herself on the front of LA Direct!

    

Looks like Beverly Hills 90210 is going to have a dance number!  We spotted Naomi, aka AnnaLyne McCord practicing some dance moves on set.  AnnaLynne, in full costume that included a crazy pair of heels, got some help from a production assistant.

Did you catch last night's episode? That Adrianna is quite the little trouble maker, or should I say SKANK!  Annie needs to watch herself. I'm mostly entertained with the parental interaction on that show; even "normal" parents the Wilsons are way too cool with their kids. I don't know about you, but if I told my parents I was going to hotel party and that they just needed to "get over it", I certainly wouldn't get such a warm reception.  (Alas, I am from central Massachusetts which is very far from Bevery Hills; kids are misbehaved there too, however we just lied to our parents when we wanted to do something bad, not try to put them in their place.  I believe such is the normal balance between teenager and their parents in most places.)  I can't wait to see if Annie becomes the Brenda of the cast, both on and off-set...I feel it comin'!

      

Keep your Tuesday nights open because the Beverly Hills 90210 remake has been picked up for a full season!

After the success of 90210’s first three weeks on the air, the CW network has given a green light to nine more episodes of the remake, making it the first new show of fall to be picked up for an entire season.

The show had the highest rated premiere ever on the CW (how could it not with all that hype) and even though the ratings dipped in the second week they went up again last week when Brenda dropped the bomb that Dylan is the father of Kelly's baby.

Dawn Ostroff, president of entertainment for the network, told Variety the show is “another step forward in building a cohesive schedule that defines this network as a destination for young women with shows that get our audience talking — and watching.”

How did y'all feel about the 2-hour premiere of the new Beverly Hills 90210? To be honest, I was a bit distracted and wasn't able to full take in the entire program (I mean, that is a lot of teen drama for a Tuesday night) however, the parts I did watch I loved and I totally perked up when Brenda and Kelly were on the screen. 

As promised, Brenda (Shannen Doherty) will appear for a few more epies as the guest director of West Beverly High School's play.  We spotted Brenda along with her new co-stars AnnaLynne McCord, Shenae Grimes, Ryan Eggold and Dustin Milligan all doing their thing on set in Los Angeles.

Fans, producers and network execs can all take a deep sigh of reliefe because the show did great in the ratings!  The reviews were mostly positive, but we all know this style of programming is never going to get criticial acclaim.

 Variety says, More than just a famous zip code, “90210” is easily the CW’s most-hyped show of the fall season, and the struggling netlet is banking on all of the buzz to draw big ratings. This spinoff, eight years after the first series ended, is a pallid copy of the original fish-out-of-water story, only with shinier cars, fancier clothes and Botox aplenty.

Even the biggest fan of the original would be hard-pressed to call it realistic, but that earlier incarnation did deal with many topical issues of the day. This version doesn’t cover issues as much as exploit them. With shows like “The Hills” and “Gossip Girl,” exploring the upscale teenage lifestyle, this “90210” doesn’t really offer any fresh zip.

Well, that won't stop me from watching!  You can catch an encore showing of Bev Hills tonight at 8 on the CW.

                   

How excited are you for the new Beverly Hills 90210?!  Are you super psyched, cuz I'm super psyched!  In the wake of one too many reality shows, I am really looking forward to yet another teen drama to accompany my beloved Gossip Girl, especially because it's based on one of my favorite television shows of all time!
