Fashion Week is wrapping up and getting in on the tail end of the action was Claire Danes, who sat front row at the Zac Posen show.  Claire was joined by Jada Pinket Smith (in the craziest Dynasty-looking outfit I've seen this millennium), Serena and Venus Williams, Anna Wintour (scary!) and two of the brassiest broads around, Bernadette Peters and Bette Middler.

Zac Posen certainly attract a diverse, but very cool cross section of fans.  Kudos Zac for inviting some talented and classy ladies, not merely just some pretty coat hangers for the front row!

          

Will "king of the July 4th box office" Smith premiered his new movie Hancock with the help of family and friends at the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles last night.  Hancock tells the story of a washed up and drunk superhero who needs saving himself; Will plays the fallen hero and Jason Bateman plays the publicist who wants to turn his image around.  Also on hand were co-stars Charlize Theron as well as Jada Pinket, Jason's sister Justine (Mallory!) and Will's Fresh Prince co-star Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks!).  Hancock opens on Independence Day and will no doubt open to big numbers but let's not forget it has Wanted to contend with who had a HUGE opening itself!  Battle of the box office titans!

           

The Essence Magazine Celebrates Black Women in Hollywood luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday.  A smokin hot Jada Pinkett was in attendance in a backless number, while hubby Will Smith kept it neat in a gray suit.  Also in attendance were Raven Symone, Jurnee Smollett  and Gabrielle Union.  My favorite guests of course were Katie and Tom, the whitest couple in Hollywood. It's cool they came out for the celebration, however seeing Katiebot's lifeless face and Tom's stupid grin at an Essence magazine party really has to make you chuckle.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith got behind their son Trey as he played in a high school football game in LA at the weekend. Jada looked especially excited when Trey - whom she adopted as her own, but whose real mom is Will's first wife Sheree Zampino - was involved in the winning score in the match. Wide receiver Trey helped his team romp home to a victory by, err.. One point.

Spice Girl Victoria Beckham was like the cat who got the cream last night when she stepped out with fellow Hollywood Wives, Katie Cruise and Jada Pinkett Smith. Posh claims she's just an ordinary, down-to-earth English girl. But you know you've finally made it when Katie and Jada plan a little soiree to welcome you to the US. The big question is though, who wore the stripper shoes best?
