Solange Knowles is quickly proving herself to be cooler than her older sister Beyonce.  Solange, as well as Michelle Williams performed at the J&R MusicFest yesterday, with Beyonce looking on in the audience. 

Solange is about to release her debut album Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams.  She has an updated retro vibe about her; think Amy Winehouse but less dark and no crack.

Solange Knowles made a stop by TRL this afternoon to promote her new single I Decided.  I dig the song (it has a retro, girl group sound reminiscent of The Supremes) but does anyone know why she's got gray eyebrows? Is 80 the new 20? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
