Tina Fey

TINA FEY SIGNS BOOK DEAL FOR BIG BUCKS!

Tina Fey, one of my favorite people on this planet, has just signed a book deal with Little Brown Book Association!  There's not an exact confirmation of how much she will get, but word is Tina has been offered at least $6 million to write a humor-based memoir.

Tina is a hot commodity right now, recently winning an Emmy for Best Actress and for her dead-on impressions of veep nominee Sarah Palin. Speaking of which, there are rumors that Palin will cameo on SNL to do an impression of Tina Fey!  I can see Russia from my front yard has to be the quote of the year.

TINA FEY SHOWS US THE GOODS

Her Emmy goods, that is.  We spotted Tina Fey at LAX enjoying the high of three Emmy awards that she will be taking back to New York with her. Tina was traveling with fellow producer Marci Klein who actually carried her Emmy home with her.

Tina took Best Writing credits, Best Actress and Best Comedic Series for 30 Rock one of the best, if not thee best sitcom on tv right now.  Congratulations Tina, well deserved!

30 ROCK IS BACK TO BACK

We spotted Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin hard at work yesterday filming scenes on location for the upcoming season of 30 Rock!  It's so refreshing in an age of reality programming consisting of strippers competing in egg and spoon races to win cell phones and "love" to see an actual sitcom that's both hilarious and smart.  I'm just as excited this fall to see Liz Lemon do battle with the likes of Jack Donaghy and Tracy Jordan as am I Blair Waldorf with Chuck Bass.

Click through the gallery to see Tina and Alec do their thing, then watch the clip below that someone compiled of all of Liz Lemon's best quotes from the show, it will having you loling in your cubicle.

Quick-think of every star on every show on every NBC network and see how many you can list off!  Give up?!  Don't worry, you probably would need a million Trapper Keepers worth of loose leaf to jot down every sitcom, drama, news program and reality show that NBC and all its affiliated network comprise, not to mention that talent that goes along with them!  Lucky for us we can put our pens down and take a look at the gaggle of stars that aligned and converged at the NBC "upfront" yesterday.  Everyone from Brooke Shields and the ladies from Lipstick Jungle to Rainn Wilson and John Krasinski from The OfficeJimmy Fallon, who was just named, as the new host of Late Night, once Conan takes over The Tonight Show was there to celebrate the good news with his wife Nancy JuvenonDonnie Deutsch from CNBC was there on the news tip, as well James Lipton from Inside the Actors Studio.  Oh, and Janice, you know we couldn't forget Janice with her "Get off Miley's Back" t-shirt.  Well I guess we know where she stands!
