Usher took some time today to greet members of the military aboard the USS Kearsarge docked in NYC.  Usher's promo tour coincides with Fleet Week here in New York and to pay small thank you to our troops Ush signed copies of his new album Here I Stand. 

      

Jay-Z, still basking in the glow of his marital bliss, met up with pal Usher to grab dinner at Katsuya last night.  Usher is both a husband and a dad, so perhaps he was giving Jay tips on how to keep things domestic.

We spotted Usher in Los Angeles yesterday.  Ush was walking his dog while his body guard tailed the both of them. Usher also had on a very peculiar sweatshirt that read "Fashion We Don't Stupid".  Umm...is that Keats?  Seriously, if anyone has any idea wtf that nugget of wisdom means, lemme know.

Club Marquee in NYC had its fourth birthday last night and the dudes came out to help celebrate.  Nas, Usher, LeBron James and Joshua Jackson (one of these things is not like the other) were all getting their party on.  Looked pretty fun, I especially like the man huddle Josh is engaged in; discussing the mysteries of life?  Or what bottle to buy next? 

Usher Raymond and his wife Tameka Foster gave birth to a baby boy last night in Atlanta, Georgia.  This is the first child for the newly wed couple (Tameka has three children with a previous husband).  No name has been released yet for their son.  Congrats to the new parents!

Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry swept the American Music Awards Sunday night winning three awards each, proving that America really does love their Idols!  The prefab pop tarts of High School Musical took home an award for best soundtrack, while break out solo artists Justin Timberlake and Fergie each won for best solo male and female artist. But whether they they won or not, they stars still came out looking red carpet fabulous.

Looking like the cat who finally got the cream, pregnant Tameka Foster strolled into her midtown hotel with new hubby Usher yesterday. After one cancellation, the pair finally got married just over a week ago in Atlanta. Word is that Usher's mom doesn't approve of Tameka, but we're sure she'll love the grandkid when he/she arrives.

There were no sign of pre-wedding jitters for Usher when we spotted him leaving a taping of the Ellen show in New York yesterday. He's already officially married, but today's the day he and Tameka Foster tie the knot for the cameras in Atlanta. It all follows their last attempt to wed in the Hamptons last month, which was canceled at the last minute.

What a surprise! After word got around they were all set to tie the knot in a lavish bash in the Hamptons, all of a sudden the wedding was off for Usher and his pregnant fiancee, Tameka Foster. She said they had a 'baby scare.' But days later they reportedly jumped the broom stick down in Atlanta in Usher's lawyer's office. Oh, how glam.
